Millipedes and Centipedes
Millipedes and centipedes occasionally invade homes and can usually be contained with a perimeter pest control service with periodical visits indoors.

Millipede
Millipedes are harmless and have two pairs of legs on each segments of their cylinder–shaped bodies. They are often called “thousand leggers.” They prefer moist and cool conditions and may become a nuisance pest in basements and garages.

Centipede
Centipedes have flatter bodies with one pair of legs per segment. They have an alarming appearance and surprising speed, which is necessary since they are predator-bugs; they can also bite, creating a painful bump that is similar to a bee sting.
